March 23, I heard about this program a couple of days before my birthday. I have seen the results on many people, including family members. I wanted to get involved so I started changing my food and exercising. Because I hadn't exercised in a long time, I started out slowly with bike riding and swimming in WOWY.

4/5/08 - Have been using WOWY with my workout buddies. I get up early to start the day, do my workout then go on with what I have planned for the day. In just three weeks, I have eliminated my Glargine (long lasting Insulin) that I took in the morning (47 units). My short acting (before each meal - Novolog) was 12 units if my glucose was under 140. Anything over a reading of 140 to 200 I took an additional 3 units. 200-250 3 more units, 250-300 3 more. I was usually taking about 18 - 20 units of fast acting Insulin before each meal. Now, after working out and changing my eating habits, I take only 6-8 units of Novolog pen injection, otherwise my sugar readings go to low. Not a bad thing to have to worry about folks. So, my sugar has really improved, so my advice to Diabetics is work out slowly and gradually get into the heavy stuff. Watch the "portions" of what you eat. That's why so many of those home delivery foods work because they're calorie controlled with portions. Til next time..... Oh and one other thing. Please check with me about becoming a "Coach." 4/9/08 3 more pounds lost. Today's weight is 218 down from 224 and I don't even realize I'm on a food change. Join me so we can work out together in the WOWY virtual gym. I can make you a coach so you can show other people how this dynamic program works.

4/29/08 - Down 9 pounds to 215. I'll be glad when I'm under 200. Keep watching me and join me at WOWY

5/10/08 - It's getting better every day. Love throwing my "fat" clothes out to Goodwill. Honestly, not many have gone yet, but they will. People will start noticing my weight loss in about another 15 pounds. When you have 80 lbs to lose, 25 pounds is just a dent, but it's way above that in my head. Knowing I'm headed "down" is the greatest feeling and I owe alot of this to my work out buddies who help me stay on track. I can contact them at anytime and set up a schedule with them. Why don't you join me in my workout schedule at the virtual gym? I can be available anytime you want to be. Just let me know. Watch for the next pounds loss. I've graduated from Tony and the Folks to Booty Ballet and can't wait to start it tomorrow so it can kick my ass to the next level. See you at the gym.

I have accepted the fact that I am a re-tread. I am starting all over again, after a great takeoff. I'm sure I am not much different from many of you who have done the same thing. Some of you may have even forgotten about this program because of "slips" but I am back on it again. Back on the "horse" as my son says, but how many times can you get back on a horse? As many times as it takes!

I am meeting with a counselor Monday 8/11 to help me get through this war of fitness. I have lost major weight before, two times as a matter, and I know how good it feels to get the weight off. There's a different attitude inside your head that says "yeah, I did it."

I've done it before, I can do it again, only this time I have all of you guys as my support, my guidance counselor, my friends who will stick with me through thick and "thin".
Don't be a re-tread, stick with it. The results are enormously thrilling.
