I started my transformation on Sept. 23rd 2008.

I'm recovering from a car accident that nearly took my life in January 2008 that has currently left me with 3 herniated discs in my neck and other minor physical problems with my right shoulder, right knee, etc.

Due to the inactivity of the car accident and inability to work out, my body was unhappy and looking forward to being revived, strengthen and rebuilt better than ever with P90X!

Because of my history as a competitive sprinter in my youth and a track coach, I decided to go with P90X as my workout of choice. I knew it was going to be an extreme workout and I knew that I was very likely not going to be able to finish any of the workouts due to my lack of any physical activity and still working through healing from the injuries. But I knew my body, I knew how hard I could workout and where my limitations would be.

Each day that I was able, I would BRING IT to each workout until I couldn't work out anymore. I focused on doing the movements to the best of my abilities. I progressed each month to be able to workout longer each time.

As of December 22, 2008, my day 90 results are in...I lost eight pounds on the scale...but more importantly, I lost 15% of bodyfat from the 30% that I started with on day 1! So I've gained muscle and lost about half of that layer of pudding under my skin!

It has been a challenge going from absolutely no physical activity for over 9 months due to the injuries from the car accident to getting active again with P90X. I never made it through an entire workout, struggled with muscle spasms and the headaches on several days, but I'm on my way to finding my health and strength once again.

I am thrilled with the progress I've seen in the time I've been able to workout! I've seen results! I feel muscles and strength that I haven't felt in a long time! I can't wait to start my next round of P90X in 2009 to really get myself into shape and my goal is to get RIPPED, and my bodyfat into the single digits! Not only that, the goal would be to complete every workout from beginning to end! :-)

I feel very blessed to be a part of the Beachbody lifestyle and hopefully will have a story that will inspire people not to give up, not to lose hope and for people to see that you can start from anywhere and with consistent effort, find your health! 2009 is going to be an amazing year!
