After having my third baby I had post partum depression, and was unhealthy. I weighed 248 pounds and felt awful about myself. I never ate, and when I did, I ate awful. One night after finishing a carton of ice cream, I looked on the back at the nutrition label. I was disgusted with myself. I was basically eating myself to death. As I looked at my beautiful baby, I realized that if I wanted to be around to see my kids grow up, something had to change. I told my fiance I was going on a diet. So I did. I first started by eating breakfast. Something I never did before. Then I started eating every two hours to keep my metabolism going throughout the day. I read so much and did so much research I could write a book! Once I lost 25 pounds, I hit a plateau. I had to start exercising. I hated exercise. There was nothing fun about it and I got so out of breath just walking up the stairs to my house. Being a stay at home mom, my kids are always with me. So I needed something I could do at home. I started out by doing Tae bo and quickly got bored with it. So I went to my on demand feature of my cable and found Turbo Jam! I did one video and I was hooked! I wanted more!! So I got the starter package and the maximum results package. I LOVE Chalene, she is my idol. I have never had an idol in my life until I worked out with Chalene. Turbo Jam has helped me lose 100 pounds and I hope to lose about 5-10 more. I still eat small every two hours, include lots of fruits and vegetables and fiber, and always drink a lot of water!
