    <summary type="html">&lt;b&gt;Previous to p90x I had been practicing yoga with a DVD by Baron Baptiste.  Hubby and I tried the p90x Yoga but he couldn&amp;#039;t stand it and I didn&amp;#039;t feel the same emotional relaxation, so we opted to go back to the DVD I already had. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yoga IS an important part of overall result and fitness though.  It helps elongate your muscles after lifting.  I agree that if you are going to substitute anything, it should be StretchX.  Don&amp;#039;t be afraid to look for other Yoga DVD&amp;#039;s on the market though...there are some good instructors out there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some people find yoga to be boring (in general) because it moves so slowly.  But honestly, with the crazy-go-go-world we live in, we NEED to take time to &amp;#039;just be&amp;#039; for a few minutes.  If you will allow your mind and spirit get into the moment, it&amp;#039;s an incredible stress reliever!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hope this helps a little!&lt;img alt='emoticon' src='http://teambeachbody.com/team-beachbody-theme/images/emoticons/bashful.gif' /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Namaste &lt;/b&gt;</summary>

Sounds like you are totally rocking the P90 and I could not be more happy for you!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I had my 3 month&amp;#039;s doctor&amp;#039;s appointment on Wednesday to check bloodwork and do another A1C test.  A1C levels are elevated and cholesteral &amp;amp; tryglycerides are high.  Plus I gained 5lbs since I came back from my vacation. (sigh)  So, that&amp;#039;s what&amp;#039;s so.  It is what it is and just means I really need to get serious with my committment to getting healthy.  Period.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the up side, after recovering from a migraine that finally subsided by 8pm Friday, I happily did TJ Cardio Party!  Felt really good.  Diet was spot on today...mostly because my migraine made me nauseous and I couldn&amp;#039;t eat much anyway. lol  It served a purpose after all. Ha ha.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Saturday I go for my private self-defense lesson &amp;amp; I am so looking forward to it.  I can&amp;#039;t tell you how empowering that class is.  I really hope I can find the funds to go regularly because I think I&amp;#039;ve FINALLY found something I can stick to.     <summary type="html">IMHO, it is fairly simple, but it isn&amp;#039;t easy.  It is extremely hard to do what your body needs you to do.  There is absolutely no doubt about that.  I face struggles every day.  I was not trying to imply that anyone on this board was less than worthy.  As I said, this thread is full of intelligent woman who all deserve to put themselves as a top priority.  I did not mean in any way shape or form to offend you, Jennifer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As I said earlier, I have been keeping myself busy on other threads.  I wish all of you the best, but it seems perhaps I do not fit this thread anymore. Yes...  it sounds so simple, doesn&amp;#039;t it,  but if it were simple everyone would be in shape.  Most of us aren&amp;#039;t so clearly its not just about what&amp;#039;s right or what&amp;#039;s best.  You said it yourself,  its about being ready to change...  lots of us have had many many false starts, eventually we&amp;#039;ll get it right.     <summary type="html">Having a great coach is essential to your journey to a healthy and fit lifestyle. My coach helped me so much not only with my questions, but with motivation on those days when I just didnt think I could do it. Let&amp;#039;s face it embarking on a new healthy way of life isnt always the easiest thing. Often times our surroundings don&amp;#039;t help; so having someone to give you that focus is great. I know with me the people around me just arent on the same health kick that I am on so bad foods are around and I needed that extra &amp;#034;oomph&amp;#034; to keep me on track. I posted my before picture on my fridge, and believe me you that was a deterrent right there.     <summary type="html">Glad to see peeps on the thread again!  I never lost hope, just kept myself busy on other threads.  Day 50 of P90 today for this girl.  I have missed 2 days out of that 50 so far and plan on &amp;#034;making them up&amp;#034; somehow along the way.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Changes come when we are ready to make and accept them.  Until you are truly ready for a change and a commitment, then it is just insanity, doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.  I have done it, I have been there, and I am sure at some point I will hit a wall and be there again until I figure out how to change it up.  This thread though is full of intelligent women who know what they need to do for their bodies to be healthy.  We make a ton of choices in our lives everyday.  Each choice shows our priorities.  When we don&amp;#039;t put healthy choices first, then we are putting ourselves WAY down on that list.  Ladies, it is time for you each to make YOURSELF one of your top priorities.     <summary type="html">Hello Team,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No, no workout for me yesterday or today... but I really didn&amp;#039;t plan to.  Right now I&amp;#039;m working 10 hour days so I can&amp;#039;t make my classes at the gym and I&amp;#039;m much too exhausted to drive there for something as boring as walking on the treadmill or using the elliptical machine.  I can&amp;#039;t comfortably workout at home because the sound carries thru this place like you wouldn&amp;#039;t believe as it is.  It would simply be inconsiderate to my neighbors below me. Excuses... yes,  but it is what it is right now.  I need to get back to the gym,  I just have to get my mind right.  I&amp;#039;m going on vacation next week so you all know how hard it is to think about starting a new exercise program a few days before I am leaving for vacation.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lolo,  I think its great that you want to be a mom.  It always seems that the people who want it so bad have trouble whereas others who don&amp;#039;t take the job seriously at all don&amp;#039;t have to put in any effort.  Its unfortunate... and I wish you the best,  if its meant to be it will be and if not at least you tried. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Terri,  way to go getting that workout in! I went to a women&amp;#039;s self-defense class last Saturday taught by a good friend of mine.  Hoo boy was THAT fun and oh how impowering!  OMG!  Loved loved LOVED it!  Now I&amp;#039;m working on seeing how I can afford to go regularly.  In the meantime I&amp;#039;m getting 2 free weeks! Woohoo!  And &amp;#034;practicing&amp;#034; with Turbo Jam couldn&amp;#039;t hurt either. &lt;img alt='emoticon' src='http://teambeachbody.com/team-beachbody-theme/images/emoticons/closed_eyes.gif' /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The other thing that opened up during my search for what&amp;#039;s missing is that I still want to try to have a baby.  I gave up on that notion years ago when I thought it wasn&amp;#039;t logical to have a child at my age.  But in my heart I still really want to be a mommy.  I know I&amp;#039;m not a young woman anymore but I&amp;#039;m feeling the pull to not give up.  There are a number of women my age who still are having healthy happy children.  So, I&amp;#039;m gonna give it a shot.  And that means I&amp;#039;ve got to get all of my health issues under control and prep this bod! I have something to shoot for and that&amp;#039;s a great thing!  The worse case scenario will be that I still won&amp;#039;t be able to conceive but I will have lost a ton of weight and will be in the best shape of my life.  Gee, what a sacrifice! lol  Let&amp;#039;s see what 2010 has in store!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Welcome Back to us all!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lorita</summary>

    <summary type="html">I am in week 2 and yoga was definately tough but i love the feeling afterwards.  i know at the start when bending at the waist i could barely reach my shins without bending my knees and at the end i could go all the way down and put the palms of my hands on the floor. so i know it is working not to mention i was drenched in sweat after i finished.  I know what you mean about the unfamiliar moves being done.   I watched the dvd once through so i could learn the terms for each position and how it was done so it was a lot easier when it came time to actually do the workout.</summary>

Really need to get back into the swing of things.  Haven&amp;#039;t been consistent at all and well, I haven&amp;#039;t been on the pc in forever!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You&amp;#039;re definitely not alone, there, Jae.  My exercise habits are not what they used to be and I&amp;#039;m again drinking soda, need to knock that off!!!!! Check it out as it lists the workouts for all 12 weeks by whichever version you want to use. Note the weeks listed at top of each column beside the version (eg Classic, weeks 1,2,3). Classic is just that, the classic way of doing, lean is more cardio based, and doubles adds in extra cardio to the classic starting in phase 2 (scroll down at the site I listed above).&lt;br /&gt;Good Luck and enjoy.</summary>
