You have to look at your day and your priorities and the benefits that you get from the things that you do throughout the day. Since working out made you feel so good, then there is a high return on your investment in that part of the day. You now need to cut out things or delegate them so that you can get to bed by 9:00. You also need to identify the cause of your fatigue and if you provide us with more information about your health and your diet, we may be able to help you feel less fatigued and have more energy.

Calories burned in Insanity workouts
10/22/09 2:23 PM as a reply to donis.
The number of calories burned by an individual in any workout is dependent on factors like heart rate, age, weight and so forth, so it is an individual measure.

I would suspect with the intensity of Insanity, it would be in the range of 400 to 600 calories or more in an hour. But again, the number of calories burned is dependent on a range of factors - even current fitness level.

I Love Beachbody products. I always feel better when I eat right and exercise and their products make it easy by mapping it out for me.

I used P90X to get all my baby weight off (then unfortunately had achilles surgery and put back on 15 of the 70 I had lost). So now I'm on a new adventure called Insanity and am loving it.

Rockin' bod - here I come!!!!

What a great post and I agree 110%. The muscle that you put on with P90X will help a lot as you do the cardio intensive Insanity. I think that you will be surprised at how fast you lose that 15 pounds. Keep us posted, okay!

I did my first INSANITY workout tonight. HOLY COW - it was awesome. I was "done" by the end of it, but felt great. I guess I am insane.

If I don't lose weight doing this workout routine, there is something wrong. Shaun T definetly knows how to make you sweat. I can't wait for another workout. emoticon

HowtobefitI'm thinking of ordering Shakeology for my wife (I'm doing p90-x)

my question is about the 30 and 50 min workouts that you get are they good for a beginner/out of shape person. Do you start with the 30min and work to the 50min? Or what is the best BB program for a totally out of shape person to start out with?

Shakeology is the best place to start if you are totally out of shape

DB (not DB Cooper, I presume), if I were you, I would have her start by fueling her body with healthy nutrients and getting the energy she needs to start working out. I think that to give someone a nutrient packed drink that is absolutely delicious, can replace a meal to get your weight down if necessary and with so many ingredients to give you the energy you need to work out is awesome. What better place to start than properly fueling the body that has to do the working out.

Personally, I have used both Shakeology workouts and think they are great. In fact, I still use one of these workouts almost every week, because there is invariably a day when all I have is 1/2 an hour or I just want to do Shakeology 50 because I think that it is very well done.

I can't think of a better plan than for your wife than to have her start with Shakeology and the 30 workout and have her continue with it until her body adapts and she is ready to do the 50. Drinking a "high test" fuel like Shakeology will help immensely.
