Transformation Story

The beginning of my transformation story is probably similar to yours:
- At a certain age I got busy with work and got more involved with my family even before my 3 children came along. The consequence of this additional “busyness” was less time allocated for exercise and my eating habits became less healthy as I was developing the habit of eating on the run.
- My wardrobe was expanding out of necessity as my waist was expanding in inches.
- I joined one fitness club after another. It was a matter of time until I lost interest because there was no accountability without the additional expense of a trainer. There was no motivation except for what came from me.
- Not only was there the expense of club membership, but there was the expense of driving to and from the club. Then I discovered that the extra time commitment for a workout (travelling, checking in, locker room time, etc.) just about doubled the time I had to spend on each workout. This was disheartening because I really didn’t have the spare time to workout anyway.
- Of course, when one club eventually didn’t work out, it was just a matter of time and I would try another fitness club or gym. Over the years I cycled through 5 fitness clubs.
- While I was doing the club membership thing, I tried one diet after another (anyone remember the Scarsdale diet?) I always achieved a level of success with these diets. However, after I achieved my targeted weight goal, I gradually slipped back into my old eating habits and got re-introduced to my larger clothes. (Oh how fun it is to have a rack of clothes for your “target” weight and another rack for your “undisciplined” weight!)
- All of these fitness club and diet failures ran over to other areas of my life. It was a blow to my self esteem and these failures were a catalyst to negative thinking and attitudes. Next thing I knew was that I spiraled into a clinical depression and was introduced to Prozac.

Now this is where my transformation experience gets exciting:
- I have discovered a system where the exercises are full body workouts that are FUN!
- This system has a free online membership that has a built in component of accountability where I have met people like me from all over the country in real time with each of my workouts. Everybody is encouraging everyone else. Also, I have discovered individuals who want to work out at the same time every day and we have become work out buddies. This system is called Working Out With You (WOWY). It is fun and it works!
- I was given a coach who not only understands the system and is a great encourager, but he has become one of my best friends. In fact, I drove to Albuquerque to have Thanksgiving dinner with him! He is a wonderful coach and is another accountability partner in this system.
- I discovered the "fun" component for working out. Every day Beachbody gives away $300 to $1000 to someone who properly logs their workout in their online gym, WOWY. On top of that, Beachbody has an awesome transformation contest where individuals can win $1000 any month and up to $250,000 for the year! Talk about fun combined with some additional motivation!
- Then I discovered that I could become a coach just for helping to encourage others. This is the ultimate step for accountability and it has given me an opportunity to get paid to be fit! The company is currently generating approximately 2,000,000 new customers every year through their $90 million advertising campaigns. The company desperately needs additional coaches! All active coaches who have reached a certain level of success then receives company generated customers from their successful advertising! This creates an additional income stream for you at no additional cost that truly allows you to get paid for your workouts and fitness! What a deal!
