Update Posted On My Daughter's Birthday

Ok, it's been a while since I last posted so I'm writing an update today but I plan to write another one around the week of the 20th to the 24th because I intend to have reached my all-time lowest weight that I can remember recording by that time. The lowest weight I can remember, as an adult, was 162 pounds and that was in approximately 2002. So, 7 years ago. I've generally weighed about 20 pounds more than that, on average, since that time and right now I'm 4 pounds away from that goal, at 166. I'm 5'9" tall, so that's not HUGELY overweight for my height, but I'm shooting for a goal weight of around 140 to 145, keeping in mind that I intend to have far more muscle mass at my ideal weight than I had when I was just "skinny" at age 20 when I got down to an astonishing 122 pounds.

I'm making slow, but steady and constant progress by maintaining a healthy, balanced diet and doing my BeachBody workouts on a regular basis. So, I know this path will lead me to long-term success rather than short-term binge results that will yo-yo me right back up to where I used to be.

I'm especially happy to be so focused and on-track with my fitness goals as we are approaching the holiday season because I know I will stick with my program and will actually continue to lose weight and see results through this time when others may be making very unhealthy and unwise diet and fitness choices!
