My name is Andi, I am 31 years old. I have been with my husband for 11 years, married for 6 years. We have a 10 year old son who is into almost every sport. I received my BS degree in Mass Communications - Broadcast Journalism, however for the time being I work in the stock market, yes, I worked my butt off studying to get my Series 7 & 63 licenses and while doing so probably put on 30 pounds but My name is Andi, I am 31 years old. (I would not wish these exams on my worst enemies!). My husband is a forever student, he is getting his PhD in Cancer Research and should be done with grad school in just under a year.

On 9/9/07 I finally decided that it was time to do something about my weight. I had a recent doctor's appointment where I had a scare and my doctor ordered an EKG. Thankfully everything was okay, but it was a wake up call none the less. I also recently found out that my mom has diabetes and I want to prevent that from being in my future. So, on September 9th, I made the decision... I ordered Turbo Jams from beachbody and also decided to start counting my calories. I have now received my TJ videos and I have been working out everyday since the day I ordered them. I also bought the CalorieKing book to assist me in counting my calories. One other major factor in helping me through this weight loss is that my husband has been supportive and understanding. I've lost weight before but have gained it back and then some, he knows I mean business this time and want to make a major change in my life. I want to be healthy before I turn 30 which is less than a year away!
January 31, 2008: I joined 24 Hour Fitness today! I am so excited to finally belong to a gym again. I have not been following Turbo Jams since I got sick back in November but I should start up again as I seemed to lose the most weight the quickest while jammin' to Turbo Jams!
March 31, 2008: Did my first 5k on May 17th. Completed it in 40 minutes and 2 seconds. I have been working out at 24 hour fitness 3-4 days a week and going to boot camp 1-2 days a week. I've cut back on my Turbo Jam in 2008 but starting today I am going to start it back up again. I am also adding Wii Fit into my routine.
