I'm a 41-year-old mother of three wonderful children 16, 13 and 8, I work from home writing a weekly column for a local newspaper and am a substitute teacher as well. I've been married for 19 years to a wonderful man who works very hard so that I can devote my time to raising our children, and keeping our very busy family life sane, organized and fulfilling for everyone. I have fallen short for I'm a 41-year-old mother of three wonderful children 16, 13 and 8, I work from home writing a weekly column for a local newspaper and am a substitute teacher as well. I've been married for 19 years to a wonderful man who works very hard so that I can devote my time to raising our children, and keeping our very busy family life sane, organized and fulfilling for everyone. I have fallen short for years, in the area of taking care of myself, however. I have "let myself go" physically, and although I cook healthy, nutritious meals for all of us, I have not really been in shape since completing a 180 mile bike trek in 2000. Since then I've had a badly broken foot, and a 3rd knee surgery, and have spent a lot of time limping and recovering. I'm excited to start Slimin6 on January 18th 2007 and find my inner athlete/warrior again! I may never run or ski again, but with beachbody this is my year, and I hope to be well on my way toward total fitness, a re-shaped body, and better health by my birthday in April!

UPDATE 2/7/07 -- Half way through Slim in 6, 21 days - or just 18 workouts and 3 rest days! While I haven't lost 1 pound, I have lost several inches already and can see and feel the difference! More...

UPDATE 3/1/07 -- Finished Slim in 6 and lost 11"! I have gone from squeezing into my size 12 jeans, to buying a pair of size 8's! I've only lost one pound, but I know this is my body replacing fat with muscle. I'll be starting Turbo Jam after a few days of rest, and hope to take off even more inches and shed about 20 pounds. Stay tuned! UPDATE -- May 4th 2007 Day 107 -- Just finished 10 day Turbo Slim diet and lost 5 pounds in 10 days! I've lost a total of 13 inches and almost 2 whole clothing sizes. I have a ton of energy and I really love Turbo Jam! I look forward to doing it every day! I plan to continue with the "Turbo" style of eating and hope to take off another 15 pounds by the middle of June!
