I never had a problem with weight growing up... I was a tomboy and was always outside running, swimming or riding my bike. I was also a cheerleader so that kept me pretty active up until JR. High School when I became interested in other things. I took up smoking and drinking here and there with friends. I gave up cheerleading and pretty much everything else in school and pursued a path of self destruction. I started to experiment with recreational drugs and lost sight of any goals I had set. Nothing else mattered except getting high and hanging with my friends. This behavior came to a bottom at the age of 25. I couldn't live with myself anymore. I started trying to put the pieces of my life back together. Little by little one day at a time, I becamed focused again on my health. I stopped smoking in August 2005. After that the weight started to pile on. I put on 20 lbs quickly as food became a comfort to me. I struggled for a couple of years before I figured out that the changes I needed to make needed to start on the inside. I haven't looked back. This is what led me to become a Coach. I want to share my experience with others so they can come to believe in themselves and overcome whatever struggles life throws at them without having to pick up food. We can do this together especially with the great programs here at Beachbody. I started with Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs. I am now ready to take on P90X. I am so excited to share this journey with others. So come along with me on this transformation of mind, body and spirit and see how all your dreams can come true! I dare you!
