Hello, my name is Andrea. I'm a 38 yr mother of 4 (ages range from 17-21), grandmother of 1 (age4), we reside in GA by way of Alabama. I'm a Master Cosmetologist for two yrs now. Sept 22,2008 I realized that I was at my heaviest weight of 225. My energy level was very low, my self-esteem was very lower, I was unmotivated and I really didn't think I could look any better. My 4 yrs. old granddaughter was always telling me I was FAT. When I walked or jumped my flab would flop. She would say "grandma I hear your fat" or "Grandma your fat still not all gone". I tried to explain that it took me yrs to put the fat on so its not going to leave instantly. She don't really know how bad it hurts to hear her say that to me. Diabetes run on both sides of my family so if I didn't get my act together it could happen to me. My father died in a Diabetic Comma. My family needs me to be here for a long time. I started with 10 min trainer lost 3 inches from my waist in the first few days. I went on to lose 20 lbs. I'm eating clean & also learning portion control. I'm not skipping meals anymore. No more late night snacking. I started on HHA on the 9th of March 09 and lost another 5 lbs, I saw a difference daily (believe it or not.) I love working out with Shaun T. I was able to get the steps down and I can't even dance; I have no real rhythm. I started TJ on April 6 and so far I love it too. Haven't gotten the moves down yet and I'm going to keep at it daily. As of June 13th, I have lost a total of 52 lbs and tons of inches; I have 63lbs more to go to be to my ideal weight. I'm over half way there. I've gone from a tight 20 plus size to a 14 jr/misses. I've learned the moves in TJ; I workout with it everyday. I also have to give many thanks to all the people that see me in wowy and email me to let me know that I inspire them to keep pushing play and believe me that's one of the reasons I'm a member of the Beachbody family. I started Power 90 on today (6/13/09). I updated my pics. I will definitely keep you updated!!
