Well, I'm a 27 year old graduate student. I got married in Oct 2005 to the most wonderful man ever. I've always been heavy, it seems, but especially when I started college. I tried very hard when I started graduate school to drop weight and got to 215-220ish when I got married, but afterwards was slammed with a diagnosis of fibromylagia (a chronic pain and sleep condition) and hypothyroidism Well, I'm a 27 year old graduate student. I got married in Oct 2005 to the most wonderful man ever. I've always been heavy, it seems, but especially when I started college. I tried very hard when I started graduate school to drop weight and got to 215-220ish when I got married, but afterwards was slammed with a diagnosis of fibromylagia (a chronic pain and sleep condition) and hypothyroidism (makes it very hard to lose weight). Before I was able to get the proper medication, I had packed on 30 pounds! I also struggle with Syndrome X (metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance). I now weigh over 250 pounds, a weight I said I would never top. Now is the time for me to change my body and get back the health that I need and that I DESERVE.

Well, I DID it! I finished 90 days of Power90! It was tough for awhile there, but in the end, I'm SO PLEASED with how well I did and how far I've come. I have a long way to go and I am certainly not done with my beachbody videos! I've decided to do a round of Slim in Six, starting April 27.
I'm hoping that the weight comes off easier, the flexibility improves, and I continue to amaze myself with the changes in my body.
