I'm 31 and work overnight. Because of my work schedule I'm not as active as I once was. Since HS, I've put on about 80 lbs. One night I was off from work and an infomercial came on for p90x. The program looked good and I decided it was time for a change. So, I picked up the phone and ordered p90x. The following day I asked a friend of mine from HS, who is now a personal trainer, what he thought of I'm 31 and work overnight. Because of my work schedule I'm not as active as I once was. So, I picked up the phone and ordered p90x. The following day I asked a friend of mine from HS, who is now a personal trainer, what he thought of the p90x and he had nothing but good things to say about it. So right then and there, I knew I made the right choice. Now lets see where this program takes me.

I started p90x on October 15th at 225 pounds. When I took the fit test initially, I was able to do it but I struggled mightily. The first couple of weeks I was so sore and so amazed and impressed at what changes I was already starting to see that it kept me motivated to keep pushing play. By the time I got to day 30 and took my 'after' pictures, I had such significant changes that I was shocked. I know I was feeling better and that I had lost here or there.. but to actually see the results side by side, I was truly excited. Now while I have completely adjusted my diet to eating clean and healthy, I havn't been 100% to where I should be and I know I need to get there. I now sit at approximately day 45 and I'm down to 216 pounds! I've gained about 1 - 2 inches in my arms and legs and have lost about 2 in my waist. I'm so much stronger then I was before and have a lot more endurance. Yesterday for example, I ddi 126 pull ups while doing 'Legs and Back'. I never would have imagined doing so much in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to see what the next 45 days has in store for me.
