I'm 36 and I have been wanting to get back in shape for years and years. My wife and I have a three year old daughter and we just adopted a baby boy this past August. We also have my wife's 16 yr old daughter who lives with us and her 20 yr old son who lives about 10 minutes away. I know I will need to get back in shape to be able to keep up with both of the little ones as they get older. I I'm 36 and I have been wanting to get back in shape for years and years. I bit the bullet and decided to start with P90X because even though I am probably not fully ready for it, I passed the fit test and it is the only program that I think is varied enough on a daily basis to keep me interested and motivated. My wife just started Hip Hop Abs and we are pushing each other to stick with our programs.

Just started today, October 14, 2007. Day 1 P90X. Had hurt my back and had to wait to recover before starting again. I'm back now and ready to bring it. Started P90X Day 1 today, December 29, 2007. Only got thru to about Day 75 with a few mini breaks (skipped days). Definitely noticed and felt like I was in much better shape, but I did not stick with the diet very well. Got out of it over the summer and fall and started gaining weight and was not feeling as well. My stomach was getting big again and my back started hurting more. I finally made a new commitment and started Day 1 of P90X again on December 1st, 2008. I am only doing the maintenance program due to time constrants, but after only three weeks, I can see the changes in my body. I am excited to take photos this time around and make it to Day 90!
