I recently married the love of my life, Michelle, whom I've had a five year relationship despite the fact that she lives in Australia and we only got to see each other once a year. I started BeachBody in early 2008 and over the course of the year used the P90 and P90 Master Series programs. By the end of September if memory serves, I had gone from 220+ pounds all the way down to 175ish. However, towards the end of the year...my life started to get very hetic very quickly. First it was the holidays...then my visa application went in for processing. During that time I basically went into panic mode, focusing more on work and less on myself. Between saving every penny I could, and trying to figure out how I was getting everything I owned either sold or sent overseas I was a wreck. I unfortunetly gave up on excersising almost all together and since completly my move overseas in June, I have gotten back some of my other bad habits. Namely soda and coffee...though my food intake isn't quite as bad. I haven't been working out, due to having to see all my gym equipment before I moved and not yet being able to afford to by new stuff. However, I finally was able to procure a region free DVD player and a TV so I will soon begin my BeachBody journey a second time. With my life finally settling...I'll be redoing P90...and the Master Series, then buying P90X and ChaLEAN Extreme. I will however for the time being, be doing so cold turkey as far as suppliments go. I don;t have the financial leeway to buy them, but once I am able to be...I'll be looking into where I can get the stuff I was taking back in the states. When I first became a member of the Team Beach Body community, I topped out at around 214 pounds. Between biking to work and using the 2 Day Fast...I lost about 7 pounds prior to start Tony Horton's Power 90 Program. I committed myself for the full 90 Days, I took out all excess drinks from my diet (which included juices, tea and coffee for the most part, and ended up ten plus year affair with Pepsi), I ate cleaner, cut out the fast foods, and just overall finally cleaned up my act. I brought it as hard as I could every day, and by the end of the 90 Day program...I was down to 184 pounds. Not only that though, but I decreased my Body Fat Percentage from 33% to 22.5%, and I lost a combined total of 30 inches from my body. I went down from a size 42" waist to a 36" and I was able to fit into pants I wore back in high school! My nagging knee problems have totally gone away, I've got energy to spare and I've got to say I'm probebly in the best shape of my life! I progressed to the next phase of my fitness program as I started the Power 90 Master Series as of April 28th, following a "recovery week" from Day 90 of the original Power 90. * Just an Update...due to unforseen problems during an overseas vacation I took through May and into June I ended up having to restart the Master Series on June 23rd. * *New Update 8/26...I just passed Day 60 last week for my Master Series program. With my updated stats I've managed to lose over 30 pounds as well as drop my Body Fat percentage by 12. Going into this last 30 Days Im going to focus and really push myself to be in the best shape I can be going into Power 90X next month. * *New Update 11/13/2009 I appologise for not updating in over a year...yeesh. Long story short I successfully finished the Master Series towards the beginning of October last year. However, my personal live got in the way and due to visa issues involving me moving to be with my fiancee I wasn't able to do P90X. I am now finally in a position to do so, and I will be redoing both P90 and the Master Series starting later this month so check back for updates. Thanks. * | ||||||||
