For those of us who have struggled with weight and yo-yoed like crazy, I believe there is a day when you finally just snap and say, I'm not going to take this anymore. It is only at that moment when you REALLY decided it's time to get in shape and commit to it.
Starting P90X program was the easy part. Sticking with it is the challenge. That's my biggest problem was losing motivation, getting bored, not seeing results and then I quit.

P90X and an improved diet changed all of that and I feel like I have been given my life back.
I became a coach for two reasons. First, to motivate other people. If I have to be there for others, it will also force me to keep on track. Second, as a woman who has struggled with metabolism problems I want you to know you are not going crazy - sometimes there ARE real problems with your body that just won't let you lose weight. I want to be able to share my experience and enourage others.
In the spring of 2009 I found out that I had a severe hormone imbalance. This was beyond a thyroid problem, I was pre-menopause and all of my hormones were out of whack. I had ballooned to almost 160 pounds, felt like I was losing my mind, had depression and memory loss problems. I saw a doctor who specializes in NATURAL bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. It took about 6 months to recalibrate my body, but once we had everything working properly, I lose almost 30 pounds, got my memory and my sanity back, was sleeping through the night and had more energy than I can ever remember.
What was fabulous was, I found this amazing body buried under all that goo that had been developing while I had been doing P90X!
So the other issue I like to tackle is "I don't have time to workout." I've got an insane work schedule so finding time to work out isn't easy, but I had to learn to MAKE time. Even if it's 10 minutes 3 times a day, do SOMETHING. Your mind and your body will thank you for it!
