Hey - If you don't already know me my name is Jason. I am a very independent person with a strong will to succeed.

In November I moved to Florida as a way to "start over" in a sense, I had lost my direction over the last several years and was heading down a path to nowhere.

Things have completely changed for me and I have once again returned to who I really am. I miss my friends and love them

For the past couple years I’ve been addicted to playing computer games, it was common for me to stay awake until 4-5am achieving pointless game goals. It was nothing for me to eat unheard of portions without any restriction to food types. I would easily put down a half gallon of ice cream, drink 2 sugar filled ice coffee espresso’s, and finish off a bag of candy in a night’s sitting; that’s just one small example.

This wasn’t always the case, when I was in high school I was actively enrolled in a swim team. I never missed a practice, ate incredibly healthy, slept at appropriate times, and overall took care of myself. Fitness and nutrition was a very important aspect of my life from 15-18, in fact I even tossed around the physical trainer idea and thought maybe I’d go to college for a degree.

Eventually my good nutrition and health disappeared as I just started to let myself do whatever I wanted without restriction. I spent a good portion of college out partying with my campus friends as many college first timers do. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade the experiences I had and the friends I shared my time with for anything. But I do regret letting my self control fade.

You know if it wasn’t for a good metabolism I’d weigh 300lbs+ with my eating habits the last couple years. I’ve been fortunate enough to get away with some minimal love handles and that hated layer of fat around the mid section. Yeah, I did work out here and there over the past couple years; but that consisted of about a week before I found myself back to my failing lifestyle.

One day I saw P90X on a commercial and was suddenly engrossed. Sure I’ve seen the infomercials before with the fit people on their contraptions promising a great body, but P90X was different. I saw real people doing real, hard workouts; I saw real sweat and true motivation in their eyes. From that point I was sold and decided I needed to get started. It didn’t happen immediately however, I actually forgot about it for awhile and pushed P90X to the side.

I made a big life change and moved from my home state of Maine into what I might call my paradise – Florida. No more cold winters, no more short days, no more de-motivation! I was slowly settling into my old lifestyle upon getting to Florida, I mean it’s really easy to do when it’s been the last couple years of your life. But something changed; I took a good long look in the mirror and realized it’s time for change! It was time for me to reach my goals and live my dreams! So you know what I did? I pushed ‘play’, just like Tony said. There is no turning back now, I am so enthralled to see what 90 days will bring and even more, I’m excited to see what I can do after. I’m ready for change, I’m ready for a better body, I’m ready to be healthy again!
