I am 48 years old and live in New York. I'm married over 20 years and we have 2 boys, ages 14 and 11. I've always tried to stay somewhat active and keep my weight within the recommended range. It became more of a challenge after having children in my late thirties - not as easy to take off the weight as in my twenties. I quickly noticed that as the weight came off, the muscle started disappearing with it. Obviously, my exercise routine wasn't nearly as challenging as it needed to be. Finally at age 45, desperately needing a wake-up call to get me back on track, I joined a "Boot Camp" program. At the time, I was commuting 2+ hours each way to my job in NYC, getting up at 4am and not returning home till 6:30 pm. The obvious answer was finding a program directly after work near my job that was extreme enough to get the job done and motivate me to change my lifestyle. Boot Camp did that but lasted a mere 10 sessions (3-1/2 weeks). Afterward I joined a gym and hired a trainer but after a year of rushing home and trying to get to the gym after an unpredictable commute, the stress made the workout impossible. The next obvious step was equipment at home... but the factor that was missing for me was the "push" I needed from a trainer or leader. After struggling to find the motivation on my own, I finally turned to P90 and Tony Horton - I loved everything about this program and combined with the support of other MillionDollarBody members and coaches, I hope to find what I need to not only finish my 90 days, but continue indefinitely. I still commute to the city every day but this program makes all the difference in the world!
