Hi, I'm Brian Fitzpatrick, age 56, married 26 years to my beautiful wife, Lynn;
we are blessed with two wonderful daughters. Somewhere along the way,
between raising a family and running a business, keeping in shape slowly
took a back seat to other of life's priorities.

Then came...POWER 90!! And, with P90, an out-of-shape 53 year old was

I’m the "new and improved version” thanks to Team BeachBody!

As a younger person I was always active in sports: swimming, wrestling and
best of all—surfing!

At age forty, I sprained my back and have had every imaginable treatment,
short of surgery. All my regular exercise routines pretty much disappeared
and my diet slowly became one of too much pizza, ice cream, beer and snack
food.

My weight kept creeping higher, but I thought, “No problem, I can always
start working out again tomorrow.” Untold tomorrows, without exercise,
came and went. Surfing, the sport I loved, became a thing of the past.

In March 2007, I weighed my heaviest ever, 205 lbs. I was bulging out of my
pants, embarrassed to have my photo taken, and uncomfortable and
miserable over my weight and my poor health. And, of all things, I’m in the
health and life insurance business. I wasn’t a very good role model for my
clients or family. The life insurance charts in my office indicated that I was
headed toward morbid obesity. That scared me.

I thought, “It’s never too late to do something about your health.” So…I
jumped into working out on my own, but had no real exercise plan or routine.
Thankfully, my wife and daughter had been working out to Power 90 and
encouraged me to try it. I would much rather work out in the comfort of
home anyway with my own personal trainer…Tony Horton!

Ready to “Decide, Commit, Succeed,” I joined the Million Dollar Body Club and
was assigned to MDB coach, Monica Ward. Her advice: take a photo. I
thought, “no way;” but my “before” photo became, and still is, a powerful
dose of reality. It definitely keeps me motivated! Thanks Coach Monica!

Starting out on Power 90 challenged me, but it was a fun challenge. My family
supported me—“Go daddy!”—, and so did the MDB community. It felt great
to be working out again! Plus, I looked forward to checking out the WOWY
winner first thing every morning.

After only a couple of weeks with Power 90, many people complimented me
on how much better I looked. But, not even the compliments compared with
how much better I felt about myself.

I took Tony’s advice and started taking Activit multivitamins and Peak
Recovery Formula. The recovery drink helps me stay energized after a hard
workout. I cut down on meal portions and ate foods mainly in the top tier of
Michi’s ladder, all great advice I discovered on the MDB website.

My main goal was simple: put in 5-6 challenging MDB workouts per week…
every week. After several months of doing just that, eating properly, and
taking supplements, I lost almost 30 lbs. I felt and looked like a brand new
person! My teenage daughter even said “Dad, you’re lookin’ spiffy!”

In June '07, I was excited to win $1,000 in the Million Dollar Body contest,
which motivated me to take it to the next level with P90X. What an intense
workout! I felt like I was starting all over again, but the MDB community
supported and encouraged me.

With P90X I strained, grunted and sweat…a lot! But it was worth it. The
results I got on P90X amazed me. As my weight kept coming off, my strength
and endurance kept improving. I never thought I could do so many pushups!

From the MDB members’ raving reviews, I decided to try the Whey Protein
Powder and also the Strength and Muscle Men’s Formula. I was surprised at
how good they tasted and how they helped increase my muscle tone!

Like everyone else I still have challenges. Sometimes at the end of a long day
it’s tough to work out. All I need to do though is watch a new MDB success
story and I’m fired up again, ready to push play!

A major success for me in 2008: Surfed the chilly waters of northern
California and also surfed the warm waters of Kauai as a fit and in-shape 54
year old! Dude!!

On March 15th 2007 I announced to my family, “It’s the dawn of a new day,
I’m getting back in shape!” They thought I was a little crazy then, but now…
they’re proud of me! In fact, we’ve all signed on as MDB coaches to help
others in their fitness journey.

So thanks to P90X, the help of the Lord, and support of my family and
everyone in the MDB community, I am back in shape; it is the dawn of a new
day, and it feels great to have my "million dollar body!"
