I was involved in a front-end car collision with my seven yr.old grandaughter on the way to church, three days after Thanksgiving, Nov 25,2007,Autumn sustained minor physical injuries but now has a fear of riding in cars. I had a series of x-rays, MRI'sand many chiropractor visits. The medical report resulting from the x-rays was bleak. I severely fractured my coccyx bone in a body surfing accident in 1970. The 2008 x-ray results showed chronic arthritis of my lower back with a prognosis of a possible walker by my mid-sixties. I was in critical condition and spent four months in a hospital bed wearing a halo for four
months after a 1980 car accident. I had a collapsed lung and 14 fractured bones, etc. THe 2008 diagnosis is degenerative bone disease in my neck and osteoporosis in my mid back. I was told I have a very old spine. In January and August of 2006, I fell breaking my right wrist in January and my left wrist in August, resulting in pins and screws in both wrist. The one thing I thought I had going for me was normal blood pressure. However, my emergency and doctor visits showed high blood pressure. Shoot! Not that too. I truly had a sense that my ship was sinking, because in addition to the doctors report, I had been suffering from periodic pain in my hip joints and had put off having surgery for three years to insert a pin in my right foot and remove both bunions. I've had a serious chocolate cookie addiction for several years. My weight escalated and my sugar overload had created low energy and severe mood swings. I also suffered from an emotional eating disorder. I was feeling very dismal about food addictions, my physical prognosis, and ballooning weight. I was carrying myself in a frumpy manor, quite unlike the spirited woman I once was. My daughter Janine attempted many many times to encourage me to exercise and change my eating habits. She said she wanted her foxy fun mom back which left me feeling worse. My many pep talks, New Year resolutions, and goal to lose weight by my birthday didn't work at all. Since nothing was working, my spirts sank low and my self-disgust soared, so I reached out for help. I got on my knees in tears asking for God's help to set me free from my bondage. Several days later, my boss had taken off and I worked with a co-worker for the first time. He proceeded to show me the Team Beach Body solution to my dilemma. Carl Daikeler's video "You've come to the right place if you want to change your body, change your health and change your life." penetrated me with amazing force and I knew this was the answer to my prayer. I've made " Decide-Committ-Succeed" my motto and have countless times repeated it both silently and outloud throughout the many challenges I've had to endure while working out and getting fit and healthy. I also visualized during my workouts and at night in bed, my body healing and restored. I got that idea from the Yoga Booty workout tape. Because of the level of my committment, I soon ordered the showcase pack to provide me with lots of variety working out which makes working out more fun and to know first hand how best to recommend the trainer tapes to people I'll be sharing Team Beach Body with, once I reach my goal which is only about four more pounds! What an amazing package. I can't really express how grateful I am for the fun, effective support that the website and workout tapes have given me. By following the various nutritional guides, I've lost all my cravings for chocolate cookies or for any junk foods. My last blood pressure reading was 123/73!! Yes!! In four months I've lost 43 lbs and 37 inches!!! My strength, energy and endurance are great. I've got my classy walk back and my daughter greets me with a proud sparkle in her eyes and says " How's my foxy Mamma? It's great to have you back!"
