Hi! My name is Allan. Allow me to help you meet your fitness goals and support you along the path to a healthy lifestyle. I'm originally from Pennsylvania but now live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I worked in middle management positions for a few years then I returned to school where I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I'm originally from Pennsylvania but now live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I worked in middle management positions for a few years then I returned to school where I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Knowing I would have weekends and summers off to pursue my favorite activities like golf, hiking and traveling the world I was thrilled but then reality struck. Between teaching, tutoring and attending classes for my masters degree in leadership in education my lifestyle became extremely unhealthy. I was functioning on little sleep, fast food and the only exercise I received was turning the pages on my text books. Before I knew it I went from a weight of 220 pounds to approaching 400 pounds. It was time for a change. Now you can see that change in progress by viewing my before and after pictures and physical statistics.

Yes, that is me in the after picture standing at the top of Turtlehead Peak in Red Rock National Park just west of Las Vegas. The peak rises over 6,300 feet with an incredible view of the Las Vegas Valley and part of Lake Mead. It is over a 2,000 ft. hike up the trail, which is rated as the most difficult in the entire Red Rock Canyon area. This hike would have been only a dream for me over a year a go, heck it was just a dream a little over a month ago, now I have truly conquered my mountain. Since, hovering around the 400 pound mark, I have lost nearly 200 pounds. When I began my transformation I would lose my breath and work up a sweat walking from one room to another in my house. I had to take breaks to catch my breath when tying my shoes. I became a prisoner in my own house, only leaving for work. My weight also affected my teaching ability. I knew I had to do something, because now my weight was affecting others, particularly my students. I began my transformation over a year ago. I began by cutting back on the number of times I would eat fast food. I went from eating fast food two to three times a day to two to three times a week. I haven't had any fast food for over six months. In the beginning my exercise regiment consisted of walking for twenty minutes every other day. Then I began using the slim in 6 and ten minute trainer videos. Just last month I felt confident enough to try the Power 90 videos. I have only used the video for a month, and I believe the after picture of me standing at the top of a 6,300 ft. peak is the best example of the Power 90 program's effectiveness. I can't wait to see what I will look like and be capable of doing at the end of the 90 days.
