I am a 44 year old mother of three terrific kids. My Tom and I have been married for 15 years. I have held a variety of jobs in the past such as behavior therapist, event coordinator, business owner, church youth director, but I found my true passion in becoming a Team Beachbody Coach. I am also a part time NIKE product tester.
I have been involved with Beachbody for four years and have seen my health and fitness achieve a level I had not seen since I was a teenager. Now I am helping my customers and coaches do the same. There is nothing better than to be able to share the gift of feeling great inside and out with others and watching their self image skyrocket!
My goal as a coach is simple: I wish to offer as much support and guidance I can to anyone who wants or needs a little bit of motivation or direction. Please feel free to drop me an email anytime. Beachbody found me at just the right time. I was about to turn forty and both my uncle and mother had just died of cancer. All four of my grandparents had died of heart problems, yet I was not doing anything to prevent my own demise. I kept neglecting myself and my health. I was not over weight, but I was steadily gaining weight and losing muscle each year. I saw my once athletic body turn soft and weak and flabby. I thought begrudgingly that maybe this was what it was like to get older. I wasn't happy about it and wanted to do something about it.
One morning my husband said he saw a great workout program on TV the night before and we should check it out. It was Power 90. As soon as I saw it online, I knew this was just what I needed. We couldn't wait for it to arrive! We worked the program 100% from the day one. We even did the 2 day fast! It was really tough at first, but I started to feel better even before I saw results on the outside. On day 90, I had dropped 10 pounds and 4 dress sizes! I couldn't believe the changes just by pushing play and eating carefully. (My husband lost almost 40lbs and quit smoking!) Suddenly, people started asking what I was doing and began to come to me for fitness advice. I was shocked. I was feeling so good that I began P90X. Wow! This program was a different from anyting I had done before. I really pushed myself to see what I could achieve. I got so determined that I would try to do more than the people on the tapes. I couldn't believe how strong I was getting. I actually had biceps! I could see abs! Who knew at 42, I could be stronger than I ever had been in my life? (I guess Tony H. did!) Now I have completed Slim in Six and have moved on to the Power 90 master series. I even throw in some Hip Hop Abs for some fun. I love that with Team Beachbody I can continue hone my fitness with a variety of different programs. There is truly something for everybody. These changes have made me so much more confident in myself. I have become a firm believer that with a little perseverance, you can accomplish anything!
Now as a coach, Team Beachbody allows me to take my new found passion and make an impact on others as they work toward their own fitness goals. It feels so good to help others do what I have done. What could be better? This has inspired me to go for my certification as both a fitness trainer and a nutrition specialist. Team Beachbody has transformed all aspects of my life, physically, financially, even emotionally. Now it is time for you to do the same. Come do this with me!
