I'm a 39 year old mother of two beautiful girls (7 and 5) and have been married for 9 years. My weight has progressively gotten out of control after the births of my children and I've tried other methods of weight loss with little to no success. Beachbody has truly become the last step for me in my fitness and health journey!!

I've always been overweight, basically since puberty struck. My thinnest weight ever was as a high school senior at 118lbs. I wore a size 12 most of my adult life and as my mom got sicker More...
I've always been overweight, basically since puberty struck. My thinnest weight ever was as a high school senior at 118lbs. I wore a size 12 most of my adult life and as my mom got sicker and lost weight, I just magically gained it. I believed that once she had passed that I would lose the weight just as miraculously as I had put it on -- that did not occur. I continued to gain until I was at my highest weight ever of 220lbs in my second pregnancy.
During nursing, I lost all the baby weight and into my own (lowest was 167lbs) but got a stressful PT job and gained back 25lbs in 6-8 months.
I tried for 25 weeks from 10/06 to 3/07 to lose weight with the Glycemic Impact diet on eDiets and lost only 7-9lbs depending on when I weighed myself. Half-way through the plan, I added the exercise program that went with the diets. It wasn't working for me...in the least.
In 4/07, I gave up. I started eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Late night snacking was an every night occurrence. I'm sure in the evenings, I would eat at least HALF of my daily caloric and fat intake. Over the course of the next few months, I gained 15+lbs, bringing me to my SI6 start weight of 204lbs.
My results and the BeachBody program used as of 6/8/08: SI6 = lost 16.6lbs & 18.5in Slim Series Slim Training = lost 3lbs & 11.5in SS Lower Body = lost 4lbs & 15in Turbo Jam short round = 4in BIU Round = 5.4lbs & 3in TMT Lean Jeans = 6lbs & 5in P90X = 6lbs & 7.25in ChaLEAN Extreme -- as of 1/31/09, gotten rid of 3.6lbs and 9.75in!!
