When I was younger, I was always athletic, but was never "thin". As I got older, I never worried about dieting, because I had friends with whom I would ski, play racquetball, and golf (walking the course). Then about 10 years ago, I was in a car accident in which I was broadsided. Wow! Things sure can change in an instant! Then about 10 years ago, I was in a car accident in which I was broadsided. Wow! Things sure can change in an instant! It laid me up for almost three and a half months, and for over a year after, I was waking up almost every day with debilitating headaches that would make me wish I could just pass out from the pain. After a while, the headaches became less frequent (I still get a few each month), but by then the damage was done...I had put on quite a bit of weight and was very much out of the routine of playing to get exercise. Heck, I could barely chase down a ball playing tennis or racquetball, and golf? Well they have these nifty little carts, and you can buy chips and beer while you play. No, I have been very neglectful of my physical health for some time now, and I not only want to get back in shape, I need to get back in shape. I am beginning to see friends of mine dying far too young mainly because they didn't take care of themselves...and I want to set an example for my kids as well. The one thing I have always known in my life is this; I always get everything I want, without fail, every single time...because if I didn't get it, I didn't want it badly enough! So there you have it...now let's go get this done!!!

Day 1! WOW, am I out of shape. I decided I would do four weeks of 10 Minute Trainer to get me ready for doing Power 90, and I'm glad I did, because it still kicked my keister, but it does feel good, and even though this is the first day, I can feel the change in my energy level late in the afternoon, which is when I would often get sleepy woking at the computer. I can't wait for tomorrow!
Day 7: I can't believe the jump start effect I am getting from this first week. I have told all my friends about BEACHBODY when they ask what I've been doing, and they ARE asking because they already see a difference in me! If that doesn't help keep you motivated and commited, nothing will!!!
Day 70: Well, with a bit of a reality check, I've reevaluated my plan (after finally taking care of a longtime knee problem...Thank you Dr. Terry Schroeder), and will work a few more weeks on Ten Minute Trainer before moving up to Power 90. I really have enjoyed all the support from my WOWY Buddies, and am excited to share the wonders of BeachBody with all the people who have been asking "what have you been doing...you look great!". The next big thing is buying the interim wardrobe on my way down to my goal! I LOVE MY LIFE AND I LOVE BEACHBODY!!!
