I was always overweight except the 4 years I spent in the Marine Corps. After active duty I ballooned up to 240 pounds. Through diet and exercise I got down to 200 pounds and stayed for a couple of years.
200 pounds was just not a comfortable weight for me so that is when I tried my first diet program. While on the progarm the meal replacement and supplements I was taking helped me get down to 170 pounds. But as soon as I quit using the products I went right back up to 190-200 which is the weight I spent most of my life at.
My wife purchased slim in 6 one winter. I was a construction worker at the time who got laid off in the winter so I tried it. Debbie Seibers had a great video that was a great workout out but the program wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I saw the P90X infomertial and the transformations on the P90X website so I decided P90X was the right program for me. When I start my new career I want to leave a positive first impression P90X is the program to get me where I want to be.
After two rounds of the program and not following the diet very closely at all I am down 18 pounds.
This is my final year of law school and time to step it up and lose the last 15 pounds. One more round and a close eye on the nutrition program will have me there in September.
