My Story:
I was born in Louisiana in 1963, and having reached the infamous “middle age”, I’m not getting any younger. I'm well past the point of eating whatever I want, not exercising, and staying slim. And while I've been into fitness since high school, I’ve yo-yo’ed up and down the weight scale for years.
I thought that I was destined to fitness mediocrity. But then I discovered BeachBody and saw the kind of life changing results that you have probably seen here, too. A co-worker of mine introduced me to the program, and after hearing several people talking about it, I decided to give it a try. I was actually a bit scared of the program, but decided to give it 90 days. Wow! I’m seeing incredible results: weight loss, increased strength, increased flexibility, better sleep at night, waking more easily and getting going in the morning.
So after 30 years of fitness mediocrity, I'm going for extreme fitness. How about YOU?

I'm just getting started, but I’m excited with the results that I’m seeing, and can’t wait to see what the next 60, 90, 120 days hold!
In 2004 I reached my max weight of 187. I could not believe it. I have exercised since high school, but after being recalled to active service in the Army and working 70 hours a week for two years without any regular exercise, I was a slob. About that time I was reassigned to an organization in Florida, found a work out buddy, and over the next two years got down to 164. I finally felt like I had regained some ground physically. Then a 20-year old knee injury began to degenerate, sidelined my running, and I gained most of the weight back.
I continued to exercise moderately, lifting weights, biking, and exercising on an elliptical machine, but I just could not seem to get back below 170, and usually fluctuated between 175 and 180.
Then I was introduced to P90X by some co-workers and was intrigued by what I heard. One individual in particular told me about HIS experience and I was impressed. He goes by the name “ArmyMike” and is going places in this program. He was already in good shape but through P90X got into GREAT shape and so I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the DVDs and began to plan for my “transformation”. I watched the “Bring It” video and was actually a bit intimidated by the extreme nature of the workout program. I decided to give it a week and see if my knee would hold up. I found that while it was hard, it was not impossible and that if I just kept doing the workouts, just stayed committed and “kept pressing play”, I could do it.
After 30 days I’m seeing great results. I’ve lost 7 pounds, 6% body fat, and 2 inches in my waist. I’m starting to enjoy the way I look again and I can’t wait to see what I look like 60, 90, 120 days and beyond.
