From the age of 13, I aerobicized and was in the best shape of my life. Even after having given birth two children, 4 years apart, 19 and 15 years ago, I was still within my ideal weight range.
However, that all changed when I started taking a certain type of birth control.
After that, like many women, I struggled with my weight and fought and fought to get it off, with hardly any results.

On May 1, 2007, I was at my heaviest - a whopping 191lbs. I am only 5'1", so I'm sure you can imagine what it was like walking up a flight of stairs.
One day, I was at home in bed, probably eating cookies or a slice of cake, when I saw an ad for Hip-Hop Abs.
Some think it's weird, but I truly enjoy exercizing. To be more specific, I love aerobics. I've always thought of it as choregraphed dancing. And Shaun T's workouts were absolutely perfect for me, because I will dance before I will do one single push-up.
Long story short, I bought the set, followed the plan to a "T" and dropped 33lbs in no time flat.
Keep in mind that I did modify my diet, I did NOT take any diet suppliments, and I drank at least 8 glasses of water per day - for two whole months.
I made a goal of losing 10lbs. per month, what I thought was a realistic and healthy goal. And I ended up losing about an average of 4lbs. per week for two months.
What is my current weight, as of April 3, 2008? 163lbs.
Surgery and recovery got me off track, unmotivated and lax about sticking to my plan and being consistent with it. But here's my plan now...
If I can do it once, I can do it again. Another 33lbs. would be within my healthy weight range. So, I will keep my bio updated, let you guys help to keep me motivated and on track, eat healthier, and do a lot of dancing with Shaun T to see where I end up in two months - to start. I don't have far to go, because I'm already half-way there.
Thanks, Team Beachbody. And a HUGE thank you to Shaun T. Your workouts are the greatest!
