Transformation Story

I began my Beachbody transformation in 2006 by losing 41 pounds with P90X and I haven't looked back since! I use multiple Beachbody programs to keep my workouts fresh and enjoyable.

I began my Beachbody transformation in 2006 by losing 41 pounds with P90X and I haven't looked back since! I use multiple Beachbody programs to keep my workouts fresh and enjoyable.

I ordered my first program, P90X, in November of 2006 and after getting acclimated to the workouts over a few weeks, I officially started the program on January 1, 2007. At that time, I weighed in at 255 pounds, was over 30% bodyfat, and was so out of shape that I couldn't even do 1 pullup!

I set a goal of getting up every morning at 5AM, whether I felt like it or not, pushing play on my DVD player, and putting everything I had into each workout. Fast forward to 90 days later and, in addition to now being able to crank out 15 pullups, I had dropped my weight to 214 lbs and was down around 12% bodyfat. That's 41lbs and almost 20% bodyfat lost in just 90 days! Needless, to say, I was hooked on P90X and, more importantly, Beachbody since that time.

Since completing my first round of P90X, I have bought and used many of the other Beachbody programs, including, Power 90, P90X Plus, Hip Hop Abs, & One-on-One with Tony Horton. I love each of the programs that I have and look forward to working out with them every morning. The ability to mix and match so many great workouts together in order to design your own program, or just to fit your mood for that day is what has made it so easy for me to maintain my level of fitness since my initial transformation back in 2007.
