Team Beachbody Guest

My Beachbody journey actually began 4 years ago. When I hit my middle 40's I came to a point in my life where I just got fed up with the extra weight I was carrying around.

Since our last child was headed to college, I thought "what better time than NOW, to start focusing on ME" and finally get the weight off once and for all. I weighed 100 pounds the day I got married. I was now close to 170.

I had tried so many ways through the years to lose the weight. I could get it off for a short period of time, but it eventually always came back on. One day while surfing through the channels on tv, I came across the Power 90 infomercial. I could not believe these were real people, just like me and their results were amazing!

What really caught my attention were the women in there middle 40's who were now in the best shape of their lives. I knew after watching that, that it wasnt to late for me. If they could do it, so could I!

I immediatly ordered Power 90 and have never looked back. My highest weight, Im ashamed to say, was 173. And Im only 5'1. I started my workouts and following Michis ladder for my eating and the weight just started to fall off. Because I had so much more energy, I would do my workout in the morning and then would go jogging each evening. I couldn't believe the extra energy I had, all from working out!

I can't begin to tell you how beachbody changed my life. I went from a size 14/12 to a size 6! I had never felt or looked better. My weight went from 173 to 127!

The one moment Ill never forger after losing weight and getting in shape was a night my husband and I took our two little granddaughters to the swimming pool. Another couple was there with older kids. They looked over at us and said "dont worry, your kids grow up fast and then it gets easier" So I said to her, "Oh were not the parents, these are our grandkids" They couldn't believe it! They even went and told there group of friends we were actually grandparents. To funny.. but what a nice compliment. All because of beachbody!

Now fast forward a couple years later, after a few tough years, the weight started to creep back on. I knew what I had to do. I went back into beachbody and found the support and motivation I needed to do this again. But this time for LIFE. In my first week of Power 90, I have lost 11 pounds. I can't wait to see what this day 90 will bring!

Not only did beachbody change my life on the outside, I can't begin to tell you what it has done on the inside! I am more outgoing and have more confidence then I ever had before. I feel like a different person. I am happy with myself and with my life.
