I am a home schooling mother of 3 children, ages 5-12. I also work outside the home 2 days a week. I've let things get so busy that I haven't made a point of taking care of myself by exercising regularly & eating right. 2 1/2 years ago I had gotten myself into a routine of 3, hour-long workouts a week using some at-home exercise DVDs I had. The first 3 weeks, I used the Turbo Jam Learn & Burn and the 20-minute workout. I also did the first half of the Ab Jam workout one time. I've been seeing a chiropractor for neck and back problems for the past 4 1/2 months, so I am trying to work into loosening up everything in my back & neck at a slow enough pace that it doesn't cause any problems.
This Monday, 4/14/08, I did the Turbo Sculpt workout and today, 4/16/08, I did the Cardio Party workout. I've been sore enough since Monday that I hope I will be able to continue to stand up after sitting for extended periods of time! Otherwise I may have to call my kids for help! ;)
I am hoping and praying for lots of muscle memory! Surely my body hasn't forgotten everything it learned a couple of years ago when I was in "the best shape of my life".
