Hello, my name is Genelle and I’m an Independent Beachbody Coach. I’m here
to help you achieve your fitness goals!
I’ve been working in the fitness industry for a decade. I am a mother
of two wonderful children who keep me active and busy. In my limited spare
time, I love to travel and learn about different cultures.

People often say to me, "You must have been thin all your life. It's easy for
you because you've got great genes!" Well, if you look at my extended family,
that is the furthest from the truth!! Coming from a Carribean heritage, we eat
food rich in flavor but not the healthiest for you. The odds are stacked
against me with a family history of diabetes, obesity, hypertension and heart
disease on both sides. Furthermore, almost all the women in my family
struggle with weight after having children. I became determined to be healthy
and stay fit.

In college, I competed in Track and Field but countless knee injuries rendered
me unable to continue performing high impact activities. I needed to find
something that would
keep me interested and not cause knee pain. In 1999 I
started doing Turbo and fell in love with it! It has become my way of relieving
stress, getting in shape and staying in shape. The music is infectious and
motivating while the moves are powerful and effective.

After having my daughter in 2005, I lost a total of 42 pounds in 8 months! I
was proud to be featured in the Turbo Jam infomercial with before/after
photos. It's an amazing feeling to love your body MORE after having a baby! I
could see definition in my abs, back, arms and legs like never before, more
so then when I participated in Track and Field at the collegiate level.
My second baby, a son, was born in early 2008. I lost 29 pounds after that
pregnancy, all by doing Turbo and other Beachbody formats. I was able to do
Turbo through out my pregnancy, with my doctors clearance of course, and
felt great! I knew that it was important to stay active not only for myself but
for the little life that was growing inside me. I was more energized, I slept
better, and it felt good to enjoy being pregnant!

Now, I'm ecstatic to be able to say, I am a mother of two and in the BEST
SHAPE OF MY LIFE! I have vowed to break the family cycle of an unhealthy
lifestyle for myself and for my children. With the alarming increase of
childhood obesity, I am vigilant about my children's mental and physical
health. I will continue to be a great role model of good health and fitness.
