I love all sports and live life to its fullest when I'm skiing and takin' kickers that sail me through the air. In my 'free time' I am a Real Estate Broker and help with our family business. I want to work with people who are ready to move BEYOND their diets...beyond expecting some quick, 'miracle' pill to take away their fat, beyond people who think that if they eat right they don't need to exercise. You DO need to exercise regularly to change your body and your life. If you're ready to work on yourself, let's do it!

All my jobs in the past have been physically intensive (manual labor jobs), therefore I would stay in shape. I got to a point where I did not want to destroy my body for some company. So I got into the corporate world and did very little physical activity for a period of 2 1/2 or 3 years. One day (about 9 months ago) I looked in the mirror and noticed that I was getting flabby. That concerned me because I'd always been an athlete and could eat anything that I wanted without even thinking about it. What I noticed was my chest had gone flat, my bottom had gotten flabby and I was personally disgusted with my appearance. Recognizing the problem was my first step. So I got a gym membership. I started going sporatically over a period of four months and did notice a fair amount of improvement with my overall strength. However, my true inspiration was my wife (screen name chachagirl), who had just finished up 140 Slim in 6 workouts over the course of last year (compared to my 2 or 3 workouts per week over the last 6 months). I looked at her before and after pictures (which I'd not paid attention to before)...and felt I was getting left behind in the 'hottie' department! In May this year I worked out 4 days in a row since high school (17 years) and was ready to commit more time to the new me. My new endurance and strength has rekindled a youthful feeling that I have not felt in many years. I worked at Mt. Hood for years but never took advantage of climbing the mountain. After not taking care of myself for a long time I thought the opportunity and my ability to ever climb Mt. Hood had passed me by. I am proud to announce I DID IT this year! The full climb took 12 hours. I packed a snowboard up the first 2.5 miles, dropped it off at a black diamond pitch, and continued to the summit which became steeper with each step...culminating into a vertical face which required a pick axe, cramp-ons, and ropes. Each step accrued in pitch as a high-interest credit card with compound interest. Approaching the summit was a challenge with the combination of altitude, fatigue, and pitch...but I made it. Without a doubt it was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Beachbody gave me the conditioning that lead me to the confidence of wanting to succeed in my goal. My wife's tenacity to accomplish her goals drove me to tackle my own. I look forward to my children growing up admiring and adopting the healthy approach to life that my wife and I are exemplifying today.
