I live and work in Chicago IL as an Art Director at an Ad Agency. I initially
tried and unfortunately quit the p90 program after a month. I Bought p90x
and starred at the box for a year afraid. In that time i had slipped a disk in
my neck that pinched my spinal cord in a way that robbed me of all the
strength in my left arm. It took six months for the strength to start coming
back. When the Doctor told me I no longer was going to need surgery I took
it as a sign that I need to get back in shape to avoid future injuries!

I was a competitive volleyball player for most of my life and the injury had cut
me off from one of my passions. Hopefully I can get back in playing shape
and be better than before.

Transformation Story

Still in progress...so far I am down 8 lbs from my starting weight. I think Ideally i will be down another 10 when i have reached my goals. When I started this program i could not do a single pushup due to the neck injury I had. SO, I modified the excersises with power bands. I can now do 15 good 'real' pushups. I feel like I am almost back to full strength but will be for sure by the end of the program.

Update: I am nearly 100% just some minor imbalances. I fell short of finishing P90x by 2 weeks du to my wedding and honneymoon. No Excuse I just wanted to go do more celebrating than working out. I am about to start a round of p90 just sto mix it up and do some new stuff.

With P90x I was able to drop 10 solid pounds and increase my strength in my injured areas. I started out with zero strength in one arm and now can do 30 solid pushups. I am also playing golf and driving the ball 15-20 yards farther on average more than last year. Another great side benefit.

I have no short term goals other than to not let myself get out fo control and keep plugging away at staying fit. So far I am thrilledd!
