Hi everyone!
My name is Greg! I'm 33 years old and live in Boca Raton, FL. Firstly, I'm a coach! In addition to working hard and accepting the challenge of helping people feel great and lose weight, I started a new job a few weeks back.
I'm a type I Diabetic, if you or a loved one deal with this challenge and are holding back because of this, shoot me an email, and I can let you know how I have coped with some of the specific issues that come about with an intense exercise programs like P90X.
After some of life's challenges have been overcome, I'm back on the workout horse full time this week.(4/14) I retained a position (my new job) with a major securities firm in South Florida. I'm an active member of my community. I participate with local chambers and charities and have many friends with whom I enjoy time.
I'm always looking to build relationships with like minded folks! If you like to make friends and have a positive attitude or want to work on it as I continually work on mine...Shoot me an email and lets have a chat.
I have always felt heavy in life, even in high school when I was swimming competetively. Even after 4 months of 5k to 7k yards a day swim workouts. Working at McDonalds at the age of 14 didnt help! Of this I'm sure! What I gained my freshman year I spent the next several growing into and getting rid of with swimming. My diet was never under good control back then. That's probably why I never cut the weight. All the exercise in the world wont bring out the muscles if your eating pizza and burgers.
My weight has been fairly steady at appx 210 to 220 for over 10 years now, I want to get that back down to 180. "What are your Workout Goals?" Figure them out and write them down. I also want to be able to do a set of 100 pushups, I'm right around 50 at the moment, but its right around the corner, I can feel it!
I'm determined more than every to give it my best using P90x and a good balanced diet!
I feel better, sleep better, think better, and am able to keep so focused during the days after workouts its incredible. Even in the intial weeks of being sore, I still feel better than ever. In addition to working out, I hit the beach, play poker, and I am usually reading 2 or 3 books at a time. My favorite right now is Jeffrey Gitomers "YES! Attitde," if you dont have it, GO GET IT! You'll be screaming "YES!!!" every day for all your accomplishments and after all your workouts!
Lastly, again I'm a coach! If your new to P90x or BeachBody, send me an email, I'd be happy to help!

After trying other programs and never being able to finish one, I am making anotehr attemptm but have chosen to do the new Insanity workouts this time. I enjoyed the cardio workouts the most out of P90X, so I'm hoping Shauns new program will keep me motivated. The biggest obstacle will be ever present, that being my blood sugar management. It has been the primary knockout punch to all of my programs in the past. Its hard enough getting the workouts done and eating right, worrying about killing myself on a daily basis wore on me over time. Its been many months since my last attempt, and I think I have it down to make the blood sugar managment more stable. We shall see. I am doing the Kenpo and Plyo workouts to prepare for the Insanity routines. I am hoping the package will arrive in the next few days to make my monday start date. I will adjust if different.
