Hello Everyone!
My name is Julie. I am a married to a wonderful man and we have two boys. I currently attend college online thru Axia College at the University of Phoenix and I am a little under six classes away from graduating with my associates in Communication. I will then persue a bachelors degree in either marketing, management, or retail management.
Growing up I was in many activities. My absolute favorite was dance. From the age of three up until after I turned 18, I ate, slept, dreamed, and bled dance. I was a dance director/teacher for awhile but after having two children of my own I felt that my focus had to switch to something that would help benefit them more than myself.
Now, my husband and I are trying to hold our family together while getting back in shape. He switched gears to. Once a personal trainer, now a member a management in charge of assests for the company he works for, we are both pleasently plump trying to regain our health and self-esteem back to where it belongs. We both realized that our children do not just learn how to behave from our guidence, but also learn eating habits, physical activities and other things in reference to staying healthy. The second day I did Turbo Jam my kids were jammin' along! That alone boosted my energy level....
Instead of sitting in front of the tv watching shows like "The Biggest Loser" and other reality shows regarding health, I am now going to be standing in front of the tv, dancing and working off pounds, toning muscle, and feeling better about myself.
I have been doing cardio now for awhile losing a few pounds here gaining more back because of food choices and I looked in the mirror, cried for awhile and said no more..... I am not trying to look as young and "sexy" as I "used to be in high school", I am trying to get to a point where I can look at myself in the mirror and be as enthusiastic about who am I am on the outside as I am on the inside.
I consider myself to be very friendly and outgoing and the more support I have (and can give to others) the more sucessful I feel we can all be.
