About me, I've picked up some bad habits when I was in my early 20's. I've
been a smoker for about a little over 10 years as well as a binge drinker who
just loved alcohol. Ever since I've had my daughters my life has changed and
has made me open my eyes and want to change my lifestyle. I'm still working
at it which is why I'm here.

The good thing is that I have finally quit smoking them darn cancer
sticks...Finally! How I did it? I was actually 40 pounds overweight and thinking
of my daughters, I wanted to live long and strong to watch them grow up
healthy and to have a father by their side as someone to look up to and as
their best friend. I also wanted to be a positive influence to my daughters so
that they too will be able to live a happy healthier life. Being 40 pounds
overweight, smoker and an alcoholic I've realized that I'm only killing myself.
I've signed up for my first half marathon race to force me to get off my butt,
start doing some cardio and quit smoking. When I finished my first half
marathon, it did help me quit my smoking habits and also helped me lose 10
pounds. I was on a roll. I decided to run another half marathon the same year
(this year 2007) and it still kept me off the cigarettes and kept my drinking
down a bit. I weighed myself and felt like I’ve hit a plateau and I wasn’t losing
anymore weight. With all the running I was doing, I was also doing workouts
from these navy seal training videos that I’ve always been a huge fan of. I was
able to run long, do 13 pull-ups and 80-90 pushups. I still wasn’t losing
weight or getting ripped.

I finally saw the infomercial on the P90X videos/workout. I started doing
more research on the net, reading forums, checking out all the success
stories. I've even gotten a hold of Perry Tinsley whom we have been emailing
back and forth with each other. He’s one of the popular success stories on
P90X website and infomercial. I’m very proud to meet him and have found
another friend, especially who is a great motivator. I can now say that he is
my personal online coach and is such an awesome individual. When I watched
the infomercial and have done my research, I’ve thought to myself…”This is
IT”! This is what I need to get me where I want to be! Muscle confusion? This
is brilliant! I am now a proud owner of the P90X series and excited to push
myself to “Bring it” 6 times a week. Thanks Beach Body and Tony Horton for
coming up with this idea. I’m a true believer.

My success has even landed me a winning spot as one of the May 2009
monthly winner and I won $1,000.00 just by working out! How great is that?
Now I'm eligible to win the grand prize of $250,000.00 which they will
announce the winners in March of 2009. Who would've ever known that just
by working out, anyone can win money. I will continue to push play for as
long as my heart keeps beating.
