A little background on me: I'm 41 years old and have been a drummer for 27 years.
I never really worked out because I was into my drumming. I always looked pretty good for not doing anything, was alittle on the skinny side, but it was ok.

It wasn't until around 30 that I started to pack on some pounds. I got up to a tight 34" waist on my 6 foot frame & actually hit 204 @ age 35. Not incredibly out, but I didn't like carrying around a spare tire. I tried different stuff; Atkins - which did help lose some weight, and in 2001 I bought a Bowflex machine. I would yo-yo until August, 2007.

Turning Point: I realized that 40 was coming in Feb 2008 & was not happy w/ how I looked. One of the things that I had acquired over the years was the video tape of Ab Ripper 100. I'd done it a few times, not knowing that there was a whole program involved. So I pulled that tape out again, did a search on the internet & found Team Beachbody! I almost got Power 90 but then found P90X and was intrigued by it. I was skeptical, reviewed it for almost a month until I started my first round on Sept 24, 2007. I weighed 195, 19.5% body fat and was still wearing TIGHT 34" pants. I finished 2 days before Christmas 2007, I dropped down to 173, 12% body fat and dropped to wearing 30-31" pants! Oh yeah, bring it, 40!!

APRIL 2009: I'm currently finishing up my 5th round of P90X, have maintained my weight for over a year, am now starting to gain MUSCLE weight BUT am wearing 29" jeans! Body fat is around 10-11%

My goal is to now show others how to do the same!

I will NEVER go back to being the person I used to be!
