My transformation story begins like it has for many Beachbody customers. I was sitting at home, flipping channels late at night, and the infomercial for Power 90 came on. The instant I saw Tony Horton I KNEW something was different about this program. I was convinced that this man knew what he was talking about and that this program really did work. I went with my gut and ordered Power 90. This was in September of 2003 as I was starting my first year in graduate school at the University of Florida. I made it through the first 20 days, and then I simply let life get in the way.

The next school year rolled around and I revisited the idea of working out with Power 90. I started again in August of 2005, but this year it was different. I began a couple of weeks before classes started, so I could get on track and STAY there. I made it all the way through day 60 without a hitch, but I was seeing NO results. Not on the scale, or measuring tape, or clothes..nothing! So I went to the message boards and read thread after thread wondering why these people took the time to really make a change in their lives and I was still doing everything halfway! So, I realized that to make this program work I couldn't do it MY way. I reached out to people on the message boards and in chat, I got my diet together and I even started my own thread on the boards. I just looked back to page 1 of my thread and can totally remember coming to the realization that "I never have to worry about finding the motivation to get through a workout. I never have to WOWY alone. And I know if I ever need help there are tons of people willing to be there for me." That was almost 3 years ago and I am still pushing play.

After Power 90, I did a round of Power Half Hour, I tried Slim in 6 and I revisited Power 90 again. More recently I have also used Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs. No matter which Beachbody program I tried, I always saw some sort of result, whether I gained some muscle and strength or lost a couple of pounds. I always had a blast in the process, and I always had someone helping me along the way. But, there was always one elusive program that I avoided, one program that I would not touch... I was pretty much a chicken when it came down to giving “the X” a try :) At the end of 2006, I jumped on the Agent Xers bandwagon, held on for dear life and began P90X! Three months later, I can say I am no longer scared of the Big Bad X! :P

My transformation story might have started out the way it did for many others, but I have not had the drastic results that are commonly found in this community. I have enjoyed every minute of being involved with Beachbody and now MDB, but I let school and starting my adult life get in the way of a full commitment. I’ve always known that when I was ready for it, Beachbody was the answer. I am happy to say that I am finally ready to make that commitment. I know that now all I have to do is DECIDE, COMMIT and SUCEED!

I have found that it is easy for me to push play every day, all I have to do is keep the diet clean to see some fantastic results! As you can see I am still a work in progress, but there is no place I rather be working. I look forward to continuing the great friendships I’ve made along the way, finding some people that I can help in their journey, and to finally uncover my own million dollar body!
