I am a single mom of one fabulous 7 year old boy. I am also a busy
professional with not a lot of time. But, I know that there is time for me to take
care of myself and do what I need in order to function at my optimal for myself
and my son.

Transformation Story

I started using the Beachbody workouts in 2004 with Slim in 6. I completed
that then
I went to Power Half Hour. At that time I was around 150 and wearing a size
10/12. And I More...

I went to Power Half Hour. At that time I was around 150 and wearing a size
10/12. And I was enjoying the workouts, but I wasn't really changing
anything about what I was eating.
After that I decided to throw in Power
90 for something different and I really liked the results I got. But, being
someone who becomes bored easily I went on to Yoga Booty Balley and the
Yoga Booty Ballet Master Series. I took breaks along the way. I was a full
time student finishing college and a full time mom to a toddler. I had
relationships end and new ones begin. It is amazing how we let life get in the
way of taking care of ourselves. Although I did the workouts most days, I was
slim and felt good and was eating better I still didn't feel I was where I
wanted to be. My weight was around 130# and I was wearing an 8/10. I
wanted to burn more fat and start to build more muscle.
I began P90X in July of 2007. I was amazed at what I achieved in just 4
weeks. I didn't lose weight, but my body composition was changing
dramatically. I had to keep buying smaller clothes. I went from the 8/10 to a
sized 4 and sometimes even those are a little loose. I have had a year of ups
and downs as do most people, and again started to lose interest in working
out everyday because the results came so fast that I started to become
complacent. After many changes in the last few months, many of them self
defeating and self sabotaging, I have decided to recommit my self to seeing
through a full round of P90X. I am scared to death, but at the same time
need to have this goal in my life. I embrace the journey.
