I'd love to get to know you, be there for you, and/or be a part of your fitness journey with this amazing company! I recently just got off my ship (the Maersk Georgia, a 4300 TEU container ship home based in Norfolk, VA) as the 2nd engineer. I worked long hours, but I also got to work out nearly everyday Hi! I recently just got off my ship (the Maersk Georgia, a 4300 TEU container ship home based in Norfolk, VA) as the 2nd engineer. I worked long hours, but I also got to work out nearly everyday (and even got to WOWY too! :-)) to stay in shape! I also recently returned from Tony Horton's Fitness Camp in Honolulu, HI! :-) Talk to me, and we will travel down an awesome road of fitness and well being!! :-) I was born in Seoul, S. Korea. I came to the U.S. when I was a baby and was adopted by my wonderful and loving parents. I went to a maritime/military academy on Long Island, NY, where I got my degree in Marine Engineering and got a commission in the USNR. I currently work on board U.S. flagged commercial ships carrying whatever to wherever as a Marine Engineer (sort of like a shipboard grease monkey)! :-) So, staying in shape is pretty important! I have a wonderful, loving, and supportive husband. He does the same thing, so we spend half the year apart from each other, so we both do our utmost to cherish every single moment!! He is my sole soul mate, and we even are on similar fitness journeys! He is currently training for a marathon and an Ironman Triathlon this summer. God has truly blessed us both! One of my goals is to try and inspire and motivate anyone who'll listen (:-D) to aspire to their highest and greatest selves!! (Myself included!) This is definitely a fitness path that I choose to travel for the rest of my days. Thank you Carl D. & Jon C. for creating Beachbody and offering so so so many different fitness paths to choose from! You have helped SO MANY, and that is truly, truly awesome. Thank you to Gillian M., Teigh M., Debbie S., Tony H., and Chalene J. as well. If it weren't for y'all, I wouldn't be where I am now. When I outgrew the largest size I'd ever worn in my life, I HAD TO change my life, turn it around. I'd worked out off and on the last few years, but there was a time when I was a real gym person, but that slipped away. Of course, all of that didn't matter if I didn't change my eating habits! So, on 23 January 2006, I started Yoga Booty Ballet and made a commitment to be very, very aware of what I put in my body. I'm on a firm path to success thanks to Beach Body and Yoga Booty Ballet. I have become rejuvenated, and I feel so free! In my 10th week of the intermediate Goddess Program, I have lost a total of 24 lbs and two sizes -- ENCOUNTING! :-) I have tried a few of the BeachBody programs, all of which I have liked a lot. I started with Ms. Siebers' Slim in 6, moved on to Mr. Horton's Power 90, and then on to Ms. Gillian's and Ms. Teigh's Yoga Booty Ballet. I have found the most success with their program and have subsequently purchased the rest of their follow up programs. I cannot stress enough how much my life has changed and how I have changed. I am currently nearly 45 pounds lighter and fitter and stronger than I have ever been, and that includes when I was doing some serious weight training years ago! My husband tells me that I should carry around two-25 lb dumbbells around on my shoulders to truly appreciate what YBB and BB has done for me. Thank you Teigh and Gillian and BeachBody. THANK YOU. Update 04 Apr 07: Just began Week 2 of the Classic P90X program! We'll see how this goes! I was a lame-o and didn't take "before" pix or measurements, but I will be dutiful and do it after I complete Phase I! :-) I am determined to continue this fitness journey and aspire to my highest self! I continuously and strenuously thank Gillian and Teigh for getting me started on this endless journey! Thank you gorgeous ladies! I continue to supplement the P90X with your lovely and delicious workouts!! It is incredible and amazing. My hubby and friends think that I should walk around with a BBody tattoo because that's all I talk about and how much y'all have changed my life! Again...THANK YOU!! :-) Onwards and upwards!! YEEEE HAAAAAWWWWW!! :-) 21Apr07 -- OK, Day 28 of P90X... Weight has stayed pretty steady, but I can see new definition in my arms, and I do continue to shrink in size! YAY! :-) OH WOW, the strength increase is pretty krazy, but it's wonderful! As I keep truckin' along, steppin' up to the plate to begin Phase 2! God give me strength because I watched the two new routines! WAHOO! :-) 21May07 -- All righty! Finished Phase 2! That was a tough and fruitful challenge! No real weight loss, but I see little guns poppin' out! ;-) This is so terrific! I can see that I'm getting noticeably (albeit slightly ;-)) leaner! YAY! I look forward to what lies ahead with day 90! YEAH! I wanna rock this!! :-) 12May2008 -- Hey all! No one wants to admit to set backs and that they have to include relapses in their transformation story!! So, let me be candid with y'all, my fellow BeachBody family!! This is a constant battle (that I love fighting, by the way), and I've learned and continue to learn and grow with the struggle!! :-) I have put some weight back on for whatever reason, and I, through continued vigilance, sheer determination and commitment, will continue on my journey of fitness!! Today marks Day 1 of my 3rd round of P90X, which I will not be able to complete due to going back to work too soon, but I will do what I can, and of course, I am as determined as ever! :-) Thanks so much to everyone for their support and love. Let's rock this! :-) 23Apr09 -- On 27Apr09, I'm going to begin a new chapter of this beautiful saga! ChaLean EXTREME, here I come! I will jump in with both feet and give it all I've got!
