Ok, why am I nervous about putting this on my page? Maybe because as I recall all the life changing events, that took me to 207 lbs and back to 189 lbs, it has been quite an experience. Well, let's take it from the top. I have always been into fitness, trying to eat healty and maintain a constant presence at the gym to stay in shape. The U.S. Marines whipped me into shape but I never really packed on the muscle. It would take years after the Marines to reach a decent musculature frame where people who stop me and say "hey, you workout?". I fluctuated off and on with my so called diet, eating some healthy foods and some eating everything else! Isn't life strange when it decides you can handle more stress than you are already taking and hands you more? So in a nutshell I reached an undesirable weight of 207lbs by August 2006. It was only after an undersirable photo of my neck, or lack thereof, did I decide to really committ myself to change. I joined a gym and got back into lifting, running on the treadmill and attending an occasional aerobic class here and there. I notice some change but it was taking months and my diet was never constant because I really never understood how to properly load and replinish for pre and postworkouts. When do you eat carbohydrates and protien, what time, which kind, I had some idea but nothing solid.
