Have you ever been called the "Diet Queen"? I think I know everyone of them invented since 1970. I have bounced from one to another and even did "at home" workouts in my garage when I was 10 years old. I was a rolly-polly. My parents helped me buy a slimming suit that was advertised in the back of those gadget type of magazines. It promised that I would be skinny if I just bought it and tried it on. It was suppose to shed the pounds away while I worked out in our garage. Remember, I was 10 years old. Oh, I did sweat, but at that time I didn't know proper nutrition and exercise went hand and hand.

As a teenager I tried so many diets, I lost count. I was more up in my weight than down. Well, in my 20's I would say I was average to slightly plump. Marriage was great, but as soon as the babies came, so did the weight. For the first child I gained 24 lbs. Not bad, you say, well for #2, I started out 130 and put on 36 lbs. Did I lose it all? No, so child #3 started a bit hefty and put on 36 lbs. again. By the time #4 came, after another 36 lbs, I was weighing 182. I'm 5'4". I tried a prepared meal plan at age 38 and it worked, but the cost was stagggering. I reached my goal, but eventually the scales started creeping back up. Now the 40's and the weight just seemed to settle. I tried dieting again, and again. Man, this was harder and harder.

The info commercial about Slim in 6 caught my attention one day. Why not give it a try and I did. I gained muscle and lost inches, but wanted to see more weight loss on the scales, so I decided to try Project You. Some of the women advertised were no longer in their 20's, like I saw with Turbo Jam or Hip Hop Abs. I needed a trainer that could understand and know from where I was coming. Kathy was the one. I saw how she helped my age group with great success. I'm 48 years old!!!

Here we go. I can't wait to see the results from this. I'm looking for the scales to move down and my body to tone up. I'll let you know.
