Hi, my name is P.J. It has taken me a long time to actually sit down and write my bio, I guess because I feel uncomfortable writing about myself, that aside, here goes….. I am a husband and father of two children. I am 36 years old and extremely young at heart, I was pretty active until we had children and since then have been on the weight gain fast track, currently tipping the scales at 235 Hi, my name is P.J. It has taken me a long time to actually sit down and write my bio, I guess because I feel uncomfortable writing about myself, that aside, here goes….. I am a husband and father of two children. I am 36 years old and extremely young at heart, I was pretty active until we had children and since then have been on the weight gain fast track, currently tipping the scales at 235 lbs. I have my own company selling, installing, and servicing P.O.S. (Point Of Sale) systems. My job is pretty much a “desk” job that requires little if any physical activity. I do get out of the office for installations and sales calls, but the lack of consistency does little for your waist line. I am an avid archery hunter, and also love to hit the hills in search of upland game. As I am sure is common among everyone, my weight begun to inhibit my activities. It was becoming more of a chore to hike around the mountains while hunting. It became more difficult to install any of the equipment we sold. In general, any of my “normal” daily activities have become cumbersome, and we won’t even begin to talk about trying to fit into a good pair of jeans.

I met Coach Mike Howard through a mutual business, and from that point on I guess you could say the rest is history. We live in a small community in Eagle Idaho, and at the beginning of this year Mike put together what he called a “90 Day Boot camp” (biggest loser contest) for our community. Coach Mike got me hooked on Power 90 and I made the commitment to the 90 day transformation on January 7th 2008. Since then I have lost 35 lbs, and a total of 16.5 inches. If you can believe it, even after that transformation, I still only landed in second place! That’s not slowing me down one bit! My clothes now fit comfortably; in fact, in not too much longer I will need to go buy some smaller sizes! Walking into the store from the parking lot no longer leaves me short of breath, overall, I feel awesome! Every activity that was frustrating me before has now become easy. I love it! Now that I have graduated from Power 90, it’s on to “phase 2”. P90X! I can’t wait to hit our community pool this summer and show everyone what second place looks like! Ha! More to come……
