I chose P90X as my first foray into a DVD exercise program. Weight loss is not the primary goal, although I wouldn't mind getting back to a 32" waist. I want to get back into condition after injuries curtailed athletic pursuits; autograft surgery to repair torn ACL with a shredded meniscus(indoor soccer)and separated shoulder (no surgery) from a fall. My exercise has been team sports like hockey, soccer, volleyball and individual games like racquetball, golf, bowling. At 48 years old, my wife grimaces when I mention pole vaulting again - it remains a genuine temptation.
