My name is Mary, I am happily married and a mother of 2 boys, 3 years old and 6 mos. I always carried around an extra 20lbs, but with my pregnancies I gained a lot of weight. I am finished having babies now and would really like to get back in shape once and for all! While being pregnant the weight gain was really hard on me and I had a lot of complications and had to have two c-sections which was My name is Mary, I am happily married and a mother of 2 boys, 3 years old and 6 mos. While being pregnant the weight gain was really hard on me and I had a lot of complications and had to have two c-sections which was even harder to recover from. Then after my last son I over did it after the C-sect and had a hernia and another operation. So now, 4 mos post op the hernia operation, I am getting my strength back. I have lost 21 lbs on weight watchers, but my goal is to get ripped and I need to work out to acheive that goal. So I purchased P90X but soon realized it was too advanced for me so I purchased Slim in 6 and started on Thursday Dec. 28, 2006. I am really psyched about the program and am enjoying the workouts. I get up at 5:15 am and am in my garage by 5:30am to work out. I have really enjoyed the quite time in the morning, the kids are still sleeping and my husband helps me by getting up with my 8 month Bryan if he wakes up before I finish. I am usually able to shower and get a jump start on the house before my kids get up, which is awesome because usually I don't have five minutes to my self. It has only been three days and already I feel stronger and have more energy. I am using the supplements which I feel can only help. I started with the 2 day fast which really helped me to cut the cravings for sugar and overeating. I will be 40 this coming year and really want to be in the best shape of my life. My weight has always kept me from enjoying life to the fullest. I have always been uncomfortable with my body and always felt to self conscience to enjoy myself completely. I want to look good and be active and be able to run and play with my kids. I want my family to be proud of my looks. As long as I can remember, everyday of my life I think about loosing weight. I need to make it happen. I have cleaned out a space in my garage and set up a TV and need to buy a DVD player to get started. I can't wait for the program to arrive. I want to get ripped!

Well, its been nearly a year since I started this journey. I am feeling fantastic. I have had my set backs, didn't work out regularly there for a while, spent a lot of time down the shore and ate and drank too much. But I have been back on track now for almost 3 weeks. What a difference, feeling so great. The scale isn't moving just yet, but I am trying not to be so concerned with the actual weight. I am more concerned with how I feel and how I look. My body is in much better shape, I am stronger, leaner, have more stamina, feel more flexible and have much more energy. My son said to me, a few months back, Mommy, you look good, you are smaller. That felt great! Kids, they say it like it is. I am still around 210 lbs. I really need to work on my diet, it's hard, I really like to snack. Love the sweets. I am trying to burn more calories to off set the sweets. I need to just cut out the sweets. 10/25/07
