Ever since I was little, I wanted to "cheat the system." That is... eat as much as I wanted and still look like the girls in the magazine. I have always had a fascination with diet and exercise and the body. I grew up a tomboy, trying to keep up with the boys: wt. lifing and playing any/all sports. I lettered 12 times in High School; but I was always big and bulky not slender and feminine.

I have always had a fascination with diet and exercise and the body. I grew up a tomboy, trying to keep up with the boys: wt. lifing and playing any/all sports. I lettered 12 times in High School; but I was always big and bulky not slender and feminine. Exercise was a love/hate relationship because if I quit doing what I knew, I would loose the muscle and gain fat. I was always frustrated with being big (too muscular and just fat-looking), which later lead to a mental breakdown- I couldn't even step foot in a gym for a year and a half. I have degrees in dietetics & Exercise Physiology and was a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist; but, there was still something missing. Training like a power lifter was not the look I wanted. After hitting my 34th b-day, I think my metabolism went hay-wire! Suddenly I found myself up 10 lbs without being able to loose it... all around my middle. I have never been "cut" even with the amount of training we did; so, I am really looking forward to completing this training as a new and shredded me!
