Before meeting Eliana, I had tried many ways to lose weight. I had a cycling phase where I woke up at 4:45 two days a week to make it to the class. I lost some weight, but eventually my body couldn’t handle losing that much sleep. I went through a personal trainer at the gym and lost ten pounds in about a month. However, I could not afford a trainer long term and ended up gaining the weight back, plus some.



On my own over the last few years my weight went up and down. Some months I was faithful to go to the gym and ate healthier, then other months I slacked. There were three things that remained consistent throughout my efforts; my feeling of not having control, not being able to find time to exercise, and not knowing how to do things better. I was praying about it and basically said, “God, I’m not okay with my body the way it is. I believe that if something matters to me, it matters to you. This is a big deal to me, and I’m asking your help to find a way to get a healthier body.”



I knew Eliana from church stuff and the gym, so I gave her a call. I told her that I needed a strict plan to follow and accountability, wondering if she knew of something that would work. It was such a God thing that at the time I was looking for such a program, Eliana was just getting involved!



Since joining Team Beachbody I have lost 12 pounds and have 1 more left to reach my initial goal!!! Having a 45 minute workout that I can do at home makes it possible to work out six days a week, before work. I start my days out with more energy, I’ve shrunk out of ALL my pants and many of my tops. People at work and church are noticing that I’ve lost weight and congratulating me.



I’m excited to see how my body continues to improve as I utilize the meal plans and fun exercise DVDs that Team Beachbody provides! I would highly recommend the programs to anyone wanting to lose weight, be healthier, tone up, and gain a better body.
