Hi there, my name is Roxanne. In past years I didn't need to worry to much about my weight. I was always tall and slendor, and had one of those high metabolisms, that no matter what I ate, it seemed to just melt off. Even after I had my four children, it was fairly easy to get back into shape. But that all changed when I turned 40. I started having to watch what I ate more. Even after I had my four children, it was fairly easy to get back into shape. But that all changed when I turned 40. I started having to watch what I ate more. Then I realized that it wasn't enough just watching what I ate, but I needed to exercise also to keep off the weight. Because I wasn't on a daily or even weekly exercise routine, I slowly started putting on the pounds. At 170 lbs and 5'9", that is more than I have ever weighed in my life, even when I was pregnant. I felt sluggish, my jeans and clothes fit tight. I hated trying to figure out what to wear in the mornings, trying on about 15 things before something looked okay. When I first decided to make a change, I joined the Beach Body Team, then within a month and a half the holidays came and I gained an extra 5 lbs. Feeling worst than ever, I decided that's it! I had to eat right and exercise in order to lose the weight and feel good again. Not only did my clothes not fit, but it was hard to breathe. So I joined the Beach Body Club, it's like having your own personal nutritionist working for you. It has made it very easy for me to eat right, without getting a lot of cravings. You just go to the Diet and Nutrition section and print out a weekly grocery list and then the menu for the week also. By following the menu's and exercising, I have lost 7 lbs in just 2 and 1/2 weeks. With the groceries on hand and the menu right there on my fridge, it is easy to stick to the meals and they are easy and quick to prepare. That's important to me. I don't get hungry eating 3 meals and 2 easy snacks a day. It's funny getting to eat so much and be losing weight, it's great! I already breathe and feel better, my clothes are not so tight. I'm not done yet though, my goal is 145 lbs by February. I know I will reach my goal, if not right on time, I will keep going till I do. I have seen results and it has given me hope to keep going. Hi my name is Roxanne. I am the mother of four wonderful children and a worship leader at Grace Place in Berthoud, CO.
I started Beach Body in October of last year, and then was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Which made it very painful to work out. My physical therapist said no weights until this winter. So I am walking and trying not to injure my shoulder by doing too much. I am going on a cruise to Alaska at the end of July and need to lose some weight. About 15lbs would be perfect. So here we go, it's June 29th and counting... :)
