“My whole life, I had been a sugar addict, but I also craved a healthy relationship with food and my body. A couple of years ago I started making changes to my approach to food and healing. I wanted to be able to eat foods I enjoy without going hungry. In my process of self-exploration, I became the "go-to" person for friends and family wanting nutritional advice. I realized that I had a passion for helping others find a way of eating and a lifestyle that works for them.”
Rachel’s formal training is in Eastern/Western nutrition and holistic health from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a Columbia University affiliate, in New York City, and she is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She received a BA from Rutgers University in Psychology and spent more than 15 years in the field of education, both as a teacher and as an administrator. She currently has a health counseling practice based in Rochester, NY but works with clients via phone across the entire US.
