I'm a wife and homeschooling mom of two. I work from home; great commute! I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm back in full swing and happier than ever!

I was always just a tad bit big. My mom says the doc said I was always an inch too short for my weight. In high school, I started eating poorly, just didn't make time for much more than a diet coke and a SCORE bar. I hovered around 130-140.

I'm restarting Power90. I did well before, and I can do so again! I LOVE BEACH BODY products! I KNOW pushing play WORKS!!! I'm doing the Power 90 program and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The kids (ages 12 and 15) will be my partners again.

I'm also cleaning up my diet. Before, I'd try to eat decently when I cooked but I had the wrong attitude about food. I hated it. I also had a hard time eating enough and the idea of eating 5 times a day seemed impossible. But now?

I read on one of the boards that Food is Fuel. When I started thinking of it that way, it made it much easier to do what I needed to do. And the kids and I are cooking new meals and such to boot! It's FUN and not so tough anymore. I am using protein "shakes" and meal replacement bars for part of it, but everything else is the top two tiers of Michi's Ladder!

A major part of my success in the past was the boards so I definitely won't neglect that this time around. It is so nice to have a place to talk to others going through what you're going through, to ask questions, to get kudos. Oh, and though I HATED the idea of posting my day 1 pics, I knew it would help me succeed and it did so I'll definitely do THAT again! I knew I had to change those pictures! Just as many before me have done, I was going to make a change month by month. And I tell you, I have read the posts following my 30 day pictures a few times in the last 24hours! LOL

My future plans? Power 90X one day :)

2008 is MY YEAR!
